First Lego League East Africa Final

The GISU Robotics Team made us proud last Weekend on an East African front when they executed their LEGO tasks with excellence in the First Lego League East Africa Final which was held at Brookhouse School Nairobi on 11/03/2017.

This is the first LEGO League Challenge ever to be held in East Africa. The competition engaged young people from over 80 countries all over the world. The students were required to think like and perform duties of Scientists and Engineers. Guided by the 2016/17 season theme: ANIMAL ALLIES, the participating teams were tasked to build, test and program an autonomous robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS® technology to solve a set of missions in the Robot Game. It is in these challenges that our team performed with ingenious precision.

Well done GISU team. I kindly request you publish such moments on the school notice boards so that other students can join the club and also pick interest.

Call for a special assembly for such when students are back.
