Galaxy international school Uganda, runs theme-based weeks and the week running 12th November to 16th November, 2018 was tagged the “The Board Games Week”.
Primary children and Secondary students participated in a number of board games notable of which was chess.
Students at different levels took part in the tournament and it was so amazing to see them strategically plan and critically think out to ensure that they collect maximum points.
It was an exciting episode to see parents take on teachers in the parent-teacher challenge. This tournament brought the Gisu family together, because Children/students, teachers and parents were all involved.
At Gisu, we shall always develop the cognitive domain through different aspects to train a holistic citizen.
