A group of 14 Galaxy International School Uganda students traveled to the land of the Pharaohs to discover Egypt’s ancient treasures during half-term holiday.
They spent 8 nights and 9 glorious days in Egypt; the birthplace of one of the world’s first great civilizations. The students were able to see the ancient wonders from the famous pyramids to the glittering antiquities of the impressive Egyptian Museum in Cairo. They enjoyed the three-night cruise on the Nile River traveling from Luxor to Aswan and the visit to the Karnack temple.
The camel rides at the pyramids and sailing on boats along the Nile River to visit small villages were similarly a great experience to the students.
The tour guides were wonderful people, warm, and friendly, cooperative and explained the Egyptian history as well as culture to detail. The only bad part of the whole trip according to the students was leaving Egypt! What a wonderful experience
