Mother’s Day assembly was truly a special scheduled time to appreciate, honor and show deep love to the mothers, aunties, grandmothers and the mother figures in general. We applaud Mrs. Telex Kaggwa our parent and emcee for the day for graciously blessing us with her presence to host the assembly.
We appreciate KG2, KG3 and Year 2A for the awesome performance that touched our hearts as we honored our mothers. Truly they reminded us of the endless love and the sincere patience of a mother.
The kodak moment (photo booths) captured lifetime moments that we shall share together as the GISU community and they will forever remind us of the Mothers love towards their children.
The different activities like dances, games boldly left a mark of compassion on our hearts. The ‘Know Your Mother’ game, gave us a moment to test the students’ knowledge about their mother.
Our storyteller, Ms. Lynda, read aloud with the audience. ‘Love you forever’ by Robert Munsch.
Our sincere thanks and gratitude go out to the Fathers that graced and escorted the Mothers as we honored and celebrated the mothers.
Thank you for your support. Surely your presence graces our souls.
I’ll love you forever,
I’ll like you for always,
As long as I’m living
My Mommy, you I’ll be.
Happy Mothers’ Day!
