THE DUBAI TRIP

THE DUBAI TRIP

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a constitutional federation of seven Emirates. We travelled by emirates airlines and we landed in Dubai, one of the emirates on 10th Feb 2019 at around 22:00 and our dates of visit were 10th to 16th February 2019.

Galaxy International School visited a number of places which include:-

Burj Khalifa, skyscraper in DubaiUnited Arab Emirates with a total height of 829.8 m and a roof height of 828 m. Out of the 254 floors, we were able to reach the 225th floor, up in the clouds. The Burj Khalifa has been the tallest structure and building in the world since its topping out.

We had a face-to-face with some of the ocean’s most fascinating predators, at Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo. We didn’t need diving experience to get up- close at feeding time, in a brand new shark feeding encounter – which brought us closer than ever to the creatures behind our exhilarating underwater tour.

A Galaxy team of 23 children and 3 teachers splashed into a world of excitement at Aquaventure “The Dubai Atlantis” Waterpark Dubai and experienced the Middle East and Europe’s No. 1 water park, over-flowing with 17 fun-filled hectares of adrenaline pumping fun with record breaking rides and slides.

Children then entered into the spirit of Dubai! The Dhow Cruise , which exposed them to the “other side” of Dubai’s highly gripping and eye-popping enchantment, it was an amazing trip down the historic creek on our dhow with Arabian-inspired setting, it was one of the most splendid things to enjoy during the trip, asides breathtaking skyscrapers and luxurious shopping venues.

We craved the intense G-force of world-class fastest rollercoaster, “Fomula Rossa” at a speed of 254km/hr, we had the best lap times in a state-of-the-art simulator filled with endless fun for everyone, it was a remarkable experience for the children.

Young Galaxians immersed in an activity-packed indoor city “KIDZANIA” where learning and play collided for a day out they’ll never forget. It was one of the best school experiences. Learning and entertainment combined perfectly. KidZania was packed with over 40 role-playing activities for children aged 4-16, where they learnt all about jobs, money and the real world while developing life skills simply in addition to what is taught in the classroom.

It was also a true magical wintry adventure at Ski Dubai, -5 degrees, the region’s first indoor ski and snow resort. Children got a unique opportunity to experience an extraordinary winter wonderland, however, the temperature outside was 27 degrees!

Children cannot forget “The Dubai desert safari” it was the ultimate travel experience. The comprehensive tour came complete with 4×4 dune bashing, camel rides and a mouth-watering barbeque dinner accompanied by a belly dancing performance.

Special thanks to the Administration and parents of Galaxy International School for all the excellent support you afforded the little ones to take part in the Dubai Trip.
